Since the day I was able to walk in my FootJoy baby shoes, I have had the dream of one day playing golf at the professional level. After many years of junior, amateur and collegiate golf played at the highest levels, I am extremely excited to pursue this dream and make it a reality.
My amateur and college golf careers consisted of the playing the highest levels of tournament golf in 23 states, 3 countries and at 2 different universities. My collegiate career started at Loyola University Maryland in 2017 where I was able to improve my golf game and become one of the top players in the history of the Men’s Golf program. Coach Chris Baloga gave me a great opportunity to get better coming out of my junior golf career and helped me learn a lot about my game in my four years at Loyola. After not playing in many events as a freshman, I came out my sophomore year playing great golf. The swing changes and on course shot decision making I worked on over my first year finally paid off. I won my first collegiate event, wire-to-wire, to start the spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Arizona and it took the confidence I had in my game to a whole different level. Over the next 10-12 months, I continued my confident play on the golf course recording a win at the 2019 Delaware Amateur, 9 top 5 finishes, 11 top 10 finishes and 15 top 20 finishes in 20 events (college and amateur). In the two events to start my junior spring season I recorded two second place finishes at the Loyola Intercollegiate (68-72-66, -12) and Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate (66-69-70, -11). When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March of 2020 just after these events, our spring college season was canceled as well as my senior fall college season. I continued to play Amateur events across the country in the summer of 2020 including the Sunnehanna Amateur, North South Amateur, Western Amateur, and the U.S. Amateur and spent time continuing to improve my golf game. During my final semester at Loyola, I continued my strong golf and recorded my second collegiate win at the Rutherford Intercollegiate (71-65-66, -11 *Tournament scoring record*), 5 top 5s, 6 top 10s, and 7 top 20 finishes in 7 events. I went on to earn a NCAA Division I All-American recognition as I closed out my Loyola career.
During my senior year as my golf game became stronger, I realized I needed to make a change in my graduate year in order to challenge myself and further improve my golf game. I knew in order excel at the professional level I needed to compete at the highest levels of collegiate golf by playing against the best competition in the country week in week out. Coach Chris Malloy and Coach Austin Cody gave me an incredible opportunity to play in the SEC for the Ole Miss Men's Golf Team with one of the best team schedules in the country. At Ole Miss, I was able to practice and work on my game at state of the art golf facilities and surround myself with a team of coaches, trainers, nutritionists, sports psychologists, and teammates who would push me to become the best player I could be. During my time at Ole Miss I improved not only just my golf game on the course but my lifestyle off the course as well. Off the course I worked with our nutritionists, strength coaches and athletic trainers to change my lifestyle and build a professional routine of stretching, working out and healthy eating which allowed me to lose 50 lbs. over the course of the year. On the course I played in 11 of 12 tournaments and recorded 5 top 20 finishes, 4 of which came in the last 6 events of the spring season. In June of 2022 my collegiate golf career came to an end playing in the largest event in collegiate golf, the NCAA Division I National Championship, while finishing with the second-best team finish in the history of the Ole Miss Men’s Golf program.
I spent the first couple of months after leaving Ole Miss completing the last class for my Master’s degree. At the same time I continued to practice, fine tune my golf game, and determine where my professional career would begin. During my 5 years in college I was able to complete my Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a minor in Information Systems & Data Analytics with a cumulative GPA of 3.53. Additionally, I earned my Master's of Applied Science in Sports Analytics from the University of Mississippi with a cumulative GPA of 3.67, all while playing a full time golf schedule at both schools.
My golf has improved every year while I was in school. I was named a NCAA Division I All-American in 2021, a three time NCAA Division I All-Region Golfer (2019, 2020, 2021), a two time All-Patriot League Golfer, an 11 time Patriot League Golfer of the Week, won two collegiate tournaments, and set the two lowest scoring records in a single season at Loyola University Maryland during my junior and senior years'.
