Last week I traveled to Ocala, Florida to compete in PGA Tour Latin America Qualifying School. In a week of rain delays and high winds from Tropical Storm Nicole, the event was extended an extra day and ultimately shortened to 54 holes. It was a great time having my Dad on the bag to caddie for me for the week. I posted rounds of 77-73-72 for a 3 day total of 222 (+6) tying me for 36th place. With this finish I was able to secure conditional status on PGA Tour Latin America for the 2022/23 season. As much as it stings to finish a few shots out of earning guaranteed starts, I am still very excited to have earned status on the tour which is far better than the alternative. I am planning on making a trip to Argentina and/or Chile for the Neuquen Argentina Classic and the Chile Open in the middle part of December. The goal of this trip will be to play my way into the events to improve my Tour status for the season and guarantee me starts on the Tour in the Spring. I am looking forward to keeping y'all updated on my Journey!
